The Power of Music
I have always felt that music has a special place in this world. It has always seemed to me the closest thing humans have to a universal language. But I also feel music has a strength behind it like no other art form.
I have always tried to write music that encompasses this by making music that make the listener truly feel something. Art of any kind is about the artist inviting the listener to find their own inner expression through the experience that the artist has created. I approach each and every musical endeavor with this goal in mind.
Young at Heart
My relationship with music started at a young age due to my incredibly musical family. Both my father and mother have musical talent and bestowed it upon me when I was a young child.
I was always given such musical and artistic freedom in the house. I could play whatever instrument I wanted, anyway I wanted, in any style. This is what instilled the idea of Play within me. The idea that music is a form of free exploration full of joy, experimentation, and failure.
